I am Kyle's self-indulgence

Erika and I are finally back from our holiday in London. We had a very busy week as we attempted to take in as much culture and historical sightseeing as possible. As I loaded the pictures from my camera, I realized what a poor vacation photographer I am. I had oodles of shots from some locations, and none from others (also, some of the pictures seem to have magically disappeared). Here is a list of the places we visited, though, with some sporadic visual accompaniment.

Parliament
Westminster Abbey
Buckingham Palace
Trafalgar Square
Oxford University (a couple more pictures at Oxford here and here--I loved the architecture we saw there!)

We also spent some time shopping, hanging out, and eating at local establishments. Here are our friends Maureen and James, sitting with us at a pub that has existed since the 13th century! They deserve many thanks for housing us all week and showing us such a great time.
