Get the behind-the-scenes and nitty gritty, from selling options to major film studios to working with visual artists and comic book writers in their adaptations. Hugh Howey's novel WOOL is in development with Ridley Scott, and the comic adaptation and graphic novel are available from Jet City Comics. Amazon: The Man in the High Castle
Amazon will introduce Comic-Con audiences to a one-hour drama series based on Philip K. Dick's Hugo Award-winning 1962 alternative history novel The Man in the High Castle. The series explores the world that would have resulted if the Allied Powers had lost World War II. America and much of the world have now been split between global dominating powers Japan and Germany. As tension mounts between the two, resistance builds against the oppressive regimes amid questions over what is real and what is not. I can say one thing for certain about Friday. Hall H is going to be NUTS. Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, all topped off by Kevin Smith. If you want to go to any of those, you should probably be in line by Thursday evening. Have fun camping out. My one thing I really want to try for is Bob's Burgers. There's lots of great panels in the Indigo Ballroom all day on Friday so we'll see how that goes. Lots of other good stuff though.
