The Strike is Over

After the WGA Strike: When Will Your Favorite TV Shows Return? - Ausiello Report | TVGuide.com

Michael Eisner was actually right and the writers voted on a deal with the producers on Sunday. This is definitely happy news. If you're wondering when your favorite shows will return, check the link. I am sad that both Heroes and Pushing Daisies will not be returning until the fall, but it looks like many shows will return in the spring.

I just read a blog from a crew member. He basically said that the writers have bent to the producers and aren't getting the residuals they should. The writers didn't care when the crews were unemployed (and the crews supported the writers), but care now when they themselves are feeling the sting of unemployment. Seems like they weren't willing to be self-sacrificing themselves..

I haven't read the specifics of the deal yet, but that is pretty lame. I have a few friends who have been out of a job since November thanks to the strike. It would really suck if all that ended up being for nothing (or next to nothing).
