Vizaweb is still teh suck

It's been over a year since we moved our sites off of Vizaweb after having several outages and little to no tech support. Apparently Vizaweb is in the news again for serious outages and no tech support:

Google never lies

Now their website is down. After a year I think I can say that Dreamhost has been pretty decent (knock on wood).

Well...Dreamhost had their major issues a month or two ago. Serious down time multiple times.

But it looks like things are better and faster now.

Knock on wood!

Yeah, true, but at least we knew what was going on with the Dreamhost stuff and we were able to contact them. Man, Vizaweb was such a nightmare. Leo Laporte should be ashamed of himself.

That is true...as much as the problems were incredibly frustrating, I have loved the customer service from Dreamhost.

The service at Dreamhost is fairly personable, at least :) They've been good to me for the few projects I host there.

While certainly not the best for projects that require flawless uptime, they're amazing for 'high resource (bw & space, not cpu!)' type stuff :)
